For the price of admission you can participate in group lessons taught by Steve Chambers. Dances are held almost every Friday from 8:00-11:00. The recorded music, provided by Ken Stafford includes traditional ballroom and western dances, as well as some line dances and a bit of country and western. Classes from 6:30-7:30. Admission is $ 5. Sodas or bottled water $ .50. On special occasions, snacks and drinks are provided at no charge. No alcohol or smoking. Dress code is nicely casual. Singles or couples. THE BALLROOM CLUB Music by: Ken Stafford (334) 279-1612 If you want to meet and dance with true ballroom aficionados, this is the place to go. Membership is limited to 150. To become a member you must be sponsored by an existing member. If you wish to attend as a guest, you must be sponsored by a member. So, please call ahead. Ballroom dancing on the first Saturday of every month. Usually at the Cloverdale High School Auditorium, 7:30-10:30 pm . Live music three or four times a year, otherwise Ken Stafford provides the recorded music. The Christmas ball is held at the Alcazar Shrine and is the highlight of the year. For this event, as a non-member, you must purchase your ticket in advance. Admission for Guests $ 15.00. Drinks are free. No alcohol or smoking. Usually finger food is provided. Dress code: When there's live music, dress code for gentlemen is formal, or dark suit and tie, cocktail dress or evening pants and top for the ladies. Otherwise, dark suit and tie for the gentlemen, 'after five' for the ladies during the months of November to May.
